That's it EXACTLY!!! We ALL have to find what works for us and then learn to FOLLOW THROUGH. What works for one person may not work for another. Losing weight and getting in shape is really VERY simple. WE make it more difficult than it really is. We allow SO many things to affect us and get in the way of our goals. I truly believe too, it's your MINDSET that makes ALL the difference. If you CHOOSE to be happy and healthy, then you WILL be. If you CHOOSE to be unhealthy and miserable, then you WILL be.
Love you girl. I think you are absolutely fantastic, beautiful and way intelligent. SOO glad I 'know' you!
Hope you had a safe and successful trip to NYC and are home safe and sound when you read this. HUGS!
Good advice...there is definite information overload out there and it all overlaps and contradicts for sure. Eat real food-period-that's the best advice in my opinion.
People should not be on "comp diets" unless they are doing comps. And not even all comp diets are the same.
Personally, I do not count calories at all unless I'm getting ready for a comp. But I'm always ready to give advice when asked...because that's what a personal trainer does...LOL! Hope you have a safe trip!
I love you girls. Rae, I WISH I could not count calories. For me, I KNOW without counting, I eat way too much. Not necessarily bad food but way too much of it for my metabolism. April- you really are one of the most disciplined chicks I know when it comes to diet. I commend you, and kind of hate you (just teasing!) Evelyne!! It IS true that success starts in our mind. So true!
What a GREAT vlog. I needed to hear this today. I am one of those people constantly READ, TALK, and READ some more fitness related stuff. I get analysis paralysis every time. Like...weekly.
I dont know why either. I have lost over 60 lbs before and I had no idea what macros were or what protein did. I never used a stove and the microwave was my best friend. I ate chips too! AAAHHHHH. But now I cook LOADS of chicken and eat POUNDS of veggies but I still have my sweets on top of that which doesnt work at all :)
Hey Krissa!! Thank you sweetie. This has been the BIGGEST thing for me the past year or so.....I just kept freaking out over everything because everyone said "oh you shouldn't do THAT! you shouldn't eat THAT!" but that is not true!! I think deep inside we can all figure out what is best for US and that is what works....IMO
